How to earn a hero point:
1) Gain 1 per level
2) Gain 1 per missive/adventure completed
3) DM discretion will reward to the party after defeating or overcoming very difficult obstacles.
4) You may not have more than 6 Hero Points at any given time.
1 Hero Point can:
- Act out of turn – take your turn in combat immediately
- Bonus Before – Use hero point before a roll and add 4 to your roll on a d20
- Bonus After – Use hero point after a roll and add 2 to the roll on the d20
- Reroll – Reroll any one die roll you just made. You must get higher than previous roll.
- Inspiration – Ask GM for a hint if unsure about the next action.
- Recall – recall a spell you already cast.
- Avoid a fumble
- Special – any feat you deem impossible may use a hero point to allow it to possibly happen – up to the GM
2 Hero Points can:
- Bonus Before – Use 2 hero points before a roll and add 6 to your roll on a d20
- Bonus After – Use 2 hero points after a roll and add 4 to the roll on the d20
3 Hero points can:
- Cheat Death – Character is left alive, with negative, and in stable condition if death was inevitable.
- Total Recall – recall all spells you already cast
4 Hero points can:
- Maximize a roll of the dice.
- Bonus Before – Use 4 hero points before a roll and add 10 to your roll on a d20
- Bonus After – Use 4 hero points after a roll and add 6 to the roll on the d20
