Sluthian
The Sluthian people are thought by many to be nothing more than a myth of the deep forests. Elusive and reclusive, these black-furred, sloth-like humanoids prefer to keep their own company, typically shunning the bustle of cities in favor of small, hidden villages. Esteemed scholars, and particularly druids, may occasionally be welcomed therein, and some have claimed the Sluthians not only beautiful to behold but rather gregarious once their wariness is pierced. Those who attempt a more aggressive approach quickly discover that the forest people are not as defenseless as they appear, and those lucky enough to have seen their would-be prey simply depart tell of arrows dodged with the barest whisper of effort, poisons harmlessly absorbed, and even magical attacks dissipating into the velvety fur.
