Children of the infernal union of a mortal and a succubus or incubus, cambions are said to be horribly ugly and monstrous, but this is a tale told out of fear and envy rather than truth. Cambions are actually exceptionally manipulative and attractive members of their communities, using their demonic heritage to twist the minds and hearts of those around them. Self-serving to a fault, or as they would say a virtue, some pursue wealth and power, others pleasure, and others cultivate a following of devotees to ensure they need never lift a finger.
