Vargelf (13 RP: Humanoid (elf), Fearless, Elven Resistances, Skill Bonus (Survival), Stalker, Bite, Claws, Low-Light Vision
Semi-feral and savage, Vargelfs descend from Elven followers of Varthrand, a wolf-god, that long ago abandoned civilization in favor of more primal lives at the behest of their deity. Generations of living in the wilds have made the Vargelfs fearless, but also alien to those accustomed to civilized society. They dig dens, and utilize simple, primitive tools in order to survive, but otherwise they live and die with their fangs and claws. Their oral traditions still speak of the time when they were debased enough to wear woven clothing and to draw words to communicate instead of speaking true and reaping the pure bounty of the forest. Every now and then young Vargelfs decide to take it upon themselves to seek out the lands of those who draw words, some out of curiosity and some out of a desire for new prey. Rarely do such ventures result in reprisals against other Vargelfs, but those who draw words have sent out men in metal skin to rout especially predatory packs of Vargelfs. As a result, most Vargelfs are cautious around the lands of those who draw words, and prefer to stick to places beyond their reach.
