Happy Easter!
As a special, this is of course not canon (general rule: specials are non-canon unless referenced in canon or otherwise specified). It could have happened if the story of Jesus is real in the Com'c verse, but I prefer to leave that ambiguous - especially as I'm an atheist myself.*
Jesus' line in panel 1 was added mainly to make it clear before panel 3 that the guy was not dead yet, and to make sure it was apparent that it was supposed to be him. (Hopefully, I succeeded on both counts.) I decided to have some fun with it, of course.
The most difficult part of drawing this was the bunny in its sitting pose. I had to make sure everything was consistent both internally and with the jumping pose, mildly realistic, and above all, good-looking. It was not an easy task, but I think I did a decent job. Still not entirely pleased with it, but I don't think I'm capable of improving it much more without having to redraw most of it.
Incidentally, the Easter bunny and Easter eggs are old spring traditions that had nothing to do with Easter until Christianity appropriated them. Decorated eggs are much older than Easter, and both rabbits and eggs are symbols of fertility.
