Yakety Sax makes everything funny. Everything.
I considered having either TQ or off-panel cinema staff point out that if anyone wanted to see the normal version instead (after all, they've paid for an action movie), they could trade in their ticket for a showing of the normal version. This was not added because it would feel too out of place and interfere with the flow of the str'p. Another thing I tried was to have some of the music notes from the beginning of Yakety Sax in panel 3, but it didn't look good.
It may seem like the time from #150 to now (four months and ten days) is a very short time for a movie to go from casting to release, but remember that Com'c time is vague and does not correspond directly to our time.
The subtitle of Scarlet Stain 3: Shoot for the Moon was partially inspired by the existence of the James Bond movie Moonraker. I don't think I've actually seen that one, but the title was nonetheless what made me think of an action movie involving the moon.
