Commentary

No, seriously. According to Wikipedia (as of Nov 11, 2014), dragonflies spend most of their life in their naiad form, in which they live underwater, "breathe through gills in their rectum, and can rapidly propel themselves by suddenly expelling water through the anus". While the last bit may not strictly count as "farting", Garry isn't really the type to care about technicalities such as that.

Asafei Science having more employees than just Cal (founder and boss), Ella (leader of Team B) and Iris (researcher on Team B) isn't new, but this is the first time any of them have influenced a str'p. There are many more than are in this str'p too, although everyone is in the room.

The fifth and seventh bubbles in panel two are from Ella. Today, I used a set of 80 "questions" to flesh out her character, and having a (male) kitten named Mushie was one of the things I learned about her. We may get to see more of the things I came up with later; unfortunately Mushie was the only thing it was in character for her to mention here.

I then moved on to Garry, whose data I've filled in roughly half-way so far. When I reached "Favorite food", I looked up what dragonflies eat, and in the process I found the fact this str'p is based on. Oh, and of course all the answers include the word "shithead" in some way or another.

I plan to do this for more characters in the future, possibly all new characters I create. Hopefully it will help me make Com'c better. :-)
