Commentary

I think this is where I should clarify something: Vee is not unintelligent (and certainly not book dumb), nor is she a jerk on purpose. However, she is strange in ways I can't really describe properly, which sometimes makes her do things that are actually rather mean without realizing. I'm not saying this frees her of the responsibility for what she does, though.

The issue brought up in panel one is one I didn't miss when making str'p #158, but the rule of funny, the character of Vee and the ability to deal with it a little later allowed me to (mostly) ignore it at the time.

As for Summer getting "fired all the time", I don't think this is the last we'll hear about that.
