Commentary Transcript

There's not too much to say about this one, which of course means I'm about to write a super-long commentary.

This str'p is the result of wanting to make a simple str'p, partially on account of the fact that I was a little bit stuck for what to do an hour past my normal starting point, and wanting to see Vee and Victor again (latest appearances: #186 and #187, respectively).

I wasn't sure which one to go with out of two different third panels (I don't want to say punchlines, as this version does not actually have one), to the extent that I switched it out while writing this paragraph. I think I like this version better, and it's the canonical one, but here is a link to the alternative ending, #216-B.

Huh. This isn't so long after all.
