This is the problem with characters on each side of a small panel (154 pixels wide and 149 tall) of whom almost all have big noses: Dialogue. Especially when they've got a lot to say in each panel.
On Thursday I made three new str'ps, including this one. This one took the most time, I think, because of all the dialogue, although the third one (which will be posted on Wednesday) features a whole new character who took some time to design. If you include the character design, it might have been the most time-consuming of the three.
I also made a height chart for the characters for comparison. I'll post it after the new character is shown in-comic.
Unrelated: When I entered the site today, the "keep me logged in" for the Google account I use when I post the str'ps had expired, so I discovered that when not logged in as a site admin you apparently can't comment. That's a problem, I think. If anyone knows a way to get around this, please leave a comment. Oh, wait... :p Okay, maybe not, but there are other ways to contact me, and if you know how to get around it, please tell me. Thanks in advance!
Oh, right! I had to slightly change the script for the punchline to fit in the panel. Here's Victor's original last line:
Victor: Your horrible logic makes too much sense for my brain to handle. Self-destruction in 3... 2...
All in all, I think the version I ended up with is better, though, and more in character for Victor.
I don't have anything else to say, so I'm off to play some Minecraft. See ya!
(P.S.: Maybe Block's parents played too much Minecraft? Does he even have parents? I'm not actually sure. I do know that I originally intended him to be blocky, though...)
