Commentary

In case it's not obvious enough, that rectangle-like thing is meant to be the top of Vee's computer.

I don't know much more about Rick than what can be deduced from the str'p. Yet, anyway. He's Vee's friend via online chat, and the only character so far who doesn't live in Hereton. He might appear again, but probably not in person, only via chat.

I thought that making the computer and the chat "bubble" was going to make this str'p even later than it already was (on account of dinner and having to finish the script), but I think it actually made it faster to make as I didn't have to bother with rounded corners and mid-aligning the text.

The punchline is a joke I've used myself, very spontaneously. I found it too funny not to include in Com'c.
