I suppose I could have made this with Cal x Garry, considering Jane drew that on the blackboard two str'ps ago, but I decided to go with Ella instead because a) her attitude makes this much funnier to me than Cal's attitude would, and b) Cal is not quite as actively studying Garry as Ella is.
The tricky part of writing Garry's dialogue is making it derogatory enough while getting the point through concisely, and all this while not using any other swearwords and derogatory names than "shithead", which should ideally be used in at least a third of his lines. He really likes that word, and in case you haven't noticed, he has yet to call anyone by their name. There's the top shithead, the blue shithead, the boring shithead, the ancient shithead, and so on, but never Cal, Ella, Iris or Braebuburn.
Hm. I wonder what he'd call me?
