It is important to have a comfortable sofa to vote from.

Commentary Transcript

This str'p is now over two hours late, largely because I've been helping out with the installment of, as you may have guessed, a new sofa. At least this one replaces the previous one, so we didn't have to place it vertically against the wall.

In case it isn't clear (especially considering we know she can fly), Vee is sitting in the sofa in the third panel.

In the second panel, we have the first clear view of the back of a human character's head in the usual Com'c style. It's not the first time a part of it has been visible, however. I recently drew the back of Block's head, but decided against using it in the str'p I was working on (I can't remember which one). However, I found a use for it when I wanted Block away from the edge of the panel in various parts of the Janebreak storyline. Back on the topic of this str'p, the reason for him being disconnected from the edge here is that I didn't want it to look like he's staying still. He has moved over to the sofa by the time of panel three.

Another friendly reminder that Victor is the caretaker, which among other things means he is responsible for the common room. So even ignoring the space issues, Vee probably should have talked to him about it in the first place.
