"Concern: The considered adoptive parent may swallow the child's brain, and potentially choke, thereby leaving the child an orphan yet again. This would come with a risk of strengthening the already troubled child's trauma, if not for also leaving the child without a brain to traumatize. It is however not known if a brainless child can be traumatized in, for example, the knee. (Experiments have shown that this cannot happen in the left shoulder or the right thumb.) If, on the other hand, the parent does not choke on the brain, the child could be considered cured of the trauma from the death of the biological parents, a feat our best psychologists have yet to make any progress towards despite decades of experience in the field."

So, yeah. Vee has finally realized that Jane isn't Marc's mother. In all honesty, that was a sorry attempt at a running gag that didn't quite work out. A sitcom might have pulled it off better. *insert horribly misplaced laugh track here*
