This str'p derailed almost completely. When I started making it, Mario Marc was going to become amused by the observation that the Oddevices may be running out of ideas, but it turned out that the particular effect I applied to them was too amusing in its own right for that to even be necessary. Even John, who previously has been seen to be very averse to Oddevices, is already starting to crack up in panel 2, as opposed to simply smiling as a response to Mario Marc sharing his observation in panel 3. I'm not saying the derailment was a bad thing. In fact, I think this str'p is much better than what could have been.

I particularly like seeing the varied facial expressions and how they go together with the facial hair. This means up to five times as many amusing visuals in the str'p as there'd be otherwise, depending on your personal tastes and on which panel you imagine "otherwise" would feature.
