Like #206, this isn't one of the funniest str'ps, in my own opinion, but it does serve to let us know a bit more about Summer. In particular, it finally establishes something I meant to establish way back in her introduction arc, but never got around to: The main reason she gets fired all the time is that she is very clumsy. (She is also rather unlucky at times.) This is also the reason for her scar. I'm sorry if this is a disappointing explanation due to all the unintended buildup.
The receptionist's view that you can't be too sure when it comes to the spelling of names is largely just a thing I wrote and decided to keep. I think she (and I think of her as a "she", for no real reason) has a point, because the spelling of names can be really weird at times. Not only are there countless variants of any given name (including surnames; no pun intended), but names also often seem to evade standard spelling rules.
