Commentary Transcript

- Brainy zombie (Jane's introduction; awful)

- Brainy zombie 2 (later interaction with John; terrible)

- Introduction of the hammer (start of three-part storyline)

- Later reckless behavior towards an Oddevice

Alright, with this off-panel display of gratuitous (almost-)violence towards an author who has clearly never done anything wrong ever, it's time to let the self-deprecation muscles rest for a bit. This is the end of the Janebreak storyline (it's a lame name, I know, but I'm trying to keep them search friendly for the purposes of transcript pages).

As Krixwell tries to say, it was actually the other way around: I had the idea for Jane to be a zombie first, then the idea for her to be a brainiac. If Jane had just been willing to listen to Krixwell in panel 3, she would learn that she is not a zombie because of a bad joke, but smart because of a bad joke. She wouldn't be happy about the latter either, but there's still a huge difference.
