Seriously, Cal, if you have a giant magic beanstalk, you're supposed to climb it. Come on. It's, like, beanstalk 101.

Cal seems to be unaware that Vee is where Iris got the cow from, and Iris is where Vee got the beans from, so the beans were presumably in Asafei possession for a while. How else would Iris have gotten them?

I guess it shows how little foresight is put into this when I'm doing speculation on my own comic. Or maybe, just maybe, I know exactly what I'm doing and am asking rhetorical questions to invite speculation about the intricately woven plans that stretch years into the future?!
