The script for this is a bit older than most of them have been. The reasons it took so long for it to actually be made were these:
It took a while until I copied it from my scribble book to my script list.
I didn't think of the fact that I could have used it for Thanksgiving until after updating on Thanksgiving, and found that it would be a bit dumb to come right after the day with a turkey-related str'p. (Irony...) I was suggested to move it closer to Christmas, which I did.
(It was actually going to be another few updates ahead, but because today's update is slightly late (blame the BBC for making QI) and the str'p that was supposed to be today needs some new art and therefore would make it later.)
In case any of my readers still don't know the song, Marc is singing The Fox by Ylvis. (My favorite of the sounds is the one the fox makes at the end.)
Marc's whisper bubble in panel 2 wasn't hard to make, but I hope to keep that kind of bubble to a minimum. That's not to say I don't like how it turned out. Victor's "singing" bubble in the same panel, however, looks a bit derpy.
This is the first time the name "Nope Guy" has been used in-comic. It was forced by the need to make it clear that Marc wasn't talking to Victor, but frankly, Marc is the person I wanted to give him the name (in-comic) when it would eventually come up anyway, so I'm happy with how that turned out.
