Oh hey, John plays poker with Iris! :o That's the first on-panel meeting between someone from Asafei and someone from the apartment building.

If you think it's OOC for a character as apathetic as Iris to play any sort of game, including poker, you would be wrong. In fact, Iris is probably the character it is most in character for - she could use the money like anyone else, and her apathy gives her an amazing poker face. She doesn't care about the game itself.

I found myself in a bit of a hurry today. Events conspired to make me start making this around 16:50, so I had about half as much time as usual. On top of that, I didn't really have a script, until I remembered this (which I'd hoped to save for post-Twex to make John's face even more telling). I did have a loose idea (which would have involved Block and Krixwell), but it didn't work out.

I finished Twexing Cal and Ella yesterday. That leaves Iris, Jane, Krixwell and Veenana, plus a couple of items I might hold off on Twexing until I need them - mainly the Chekhov's Clock, which I'll probably re-do completely because the size limited me a lot when designing it, and the Oddevices. I might actually be able to finish the project before str'p #75!
