This str'p is honestly more of an observation than a joke.

Note that this isn't about songs that are creepy to begin with. The songs this str'p is about are generally quite romantic, but worded in such a way that it's easy to imagine the lyrics being sung by a stalker. That's when the song takes on an unfortunate, usually unintentional double meaning.

I'm not trying to put down What Are Words here - it's a nice song - but with this particular observation, it's one of the best examples I know. The lyrics get almost ridiculously stalkery if you drop the assumption that the love is mutual.

"I'm forever keeping my angel close" indeed.
