Commentary

In case it's not clear from the str'p (I really hope it is), the Oddevice apparently teleported Vee.

This str'p is a rare example of Vee's thoughts being shown. I don't like to use thought bubbles in general (mainly due to the difficulty of positioning the main bubble and the bubbles showing who's thinking it), but I'm intentionally showing them even more rarely with Vee. Her mind is a bit of a mystery, even to me.

Meanwhile, who knows what Cal is thinking? Probably something along the lines of "What the... where did she come from?!", I'd guess. Time will tell what comes out of this meeting.

Oddevice

You may notice the clear colors and contours on that Oddevice up there, and think "Didn't he decide to leave that blurry a while back?". Yes, yes I did. In all honesty, that was all an excuse. But then suddenly I got an email where someone had, during a moment of boredom, decided to Twex the Oddevice for me! (And did it well, too!) All I had to do was make the active version, which really wasn't much work.

That someone soon turned out to be Brinjal, a friend of mine who has previously contributed to Com'c with fan art! :-D

In fact, he later sent me another e-mail with a piece of fan art I'll share with you in place of the regular update next Thursday (as an alternative to the scheduled blank spot).

Brinjal continues to be awesome as ever. :-)
