Disclaimer: I own none of these lyrics.
Marc generally has the same taste in music as me (except he wouldn't have as many Norwegian songs on his playlist since he doesn't speak the language), so naturally, all of these songs are selected from my rather varied playlist. My taste in music can most easily be summed up as "everything except what I don't like" (which of course is meaningless and could apply to literally anyone's taste).
One of many bits of variation that I didn't address in the str'p is that a fair number of the tracks are instrumental - ranging from calm, headache-curing Minecraft background music to full orchestral symphonies like Hedwig's Theme or the Imperial Stormtrooper March. As for the tracks that do have lyrics, those come in five different languages and range in subject from a llama having trouble with chopsticks to the mass murder of fifty thousand scum-of-the-earth by way of nuclear bomb.
So in my opinion, it's sometimes a bit absurd to try condensing someone's taste in music down to a manageable reply that isn't just "It's very varied."
