The system that I offer online is called mindfulness therapy, which is extremely effective for treating anxiety and depression and also it’s very helpful for helping you manage the underlying emotions that are fueling addiction. And I make a big point of this. You must heal those underlying core emotions that fuel your anxiety, depression or addiction if you are to really fully recover from these emotional disorders.

This process is much easier than you might think, and most of my clients see quite dramatic changes after three to four sessions. It does not take years of therapy to learn how to manage anxiety, depression or addiction. What it takes is practical, focused strategic approaches to working with the core emotions that fuel anxiety, depression and addiction, and that’s what I will teach you during mindfulness therapy sessions.

I will teach you how to apply mindfulness to work with these emotional states, to work with intrusive thoughts and reactive beliefs and so on, using mindfulness, so that you don’t become a slave to your mind, so that you can overcome those patterns of reactive thinking.

Develop non-reactivity

This is central in mindfulness teaching: how to be with your emotions or thoughts or beliefs without becoming overwhelmed by them. And this is something I will train you in doing, so that you can sit with anxiety and not become anxious. You can sit with depression and not become depressed. You can sit with the compulsive impulses driving an addiction without becoming overwhelmed by those compulsive impulses.

And this is the first step a first essential step that you learn in the first two to three sessions of mindfulness therapy. We call this the “liberating effect of mindfulness.” It basically liberates you from that habit of being blindly overwhelmed by thoughts and emotional reactions.

Respond with compassion

The second part of mindfulness therapy and training is learning how to respond to those core emotions in a way that brings about their healing and mindfulness therapy is very much about promoting the inner healing of core anxiety or depression or addiction. This inner healing is greatly accelerated when you develop a relationship based on compassion with those core emotions. They will heal very effectively if you focus your efforts on developing compassion and embracing your anxiety or depression or any other form of emotional suffering.

Medications to not treat the underlying cause of anxiety. At best they may provide a temporary reduction in the symptoms of anxiety, but they don't treat the underlying cause, so medication is not a long term solution. The only effective long term solution is to learn how to work with your mind, with the thoughts and beliefs, memories and habitual emotional reactivity that feeds your anxiety or depression or addiction.

Greetings! Would you like to talk to a therapist online and get some effective help for overcoming your depression or anxiety? Many people are choosing to talk to a therapist online over Skype because it's very convenient and it's also a very effective way for getting professional help and learning new strategies for managing difficult emotions.


We don't always have to resort to using medications to treat anxiety or depression; there are alternatives, and talking to a therapist online provides one of these alternatives. At the end of the day, medications can only go so far in helping relieve symptoms of anxiety or depression. But medications will not change the underlying process that causes anxiety and depression. That process is primarily psychological in nature. It is due to the way that you see emotions internally; it's due to the internal imagery of the emotions that causes them to have power over you.


If you want to change anxiety and depression you MUST look at this underlying process and examine the underlying imagery that creates the anxiety or depression.


On example of this imagery that I am referring to is very common with people who are suffering from a phobia, for example. If you have a phobia of a spider then very clearly it's not the external image of the spider that you see through your eyes that causes the panic anxiety, but the internal image that the mind creates when it sees that spider.


The nature of this imagery is almost certainly going to be very large, very vivid in color and probably very close, and it's those features of the internal imagery that actually create the anxiety.


During online therapy sessions we will explore the internal imagery of your emotions and we will change that imagery through creative imagination.


The imagery simply arises out of habit, but habits can be changed. When you bring conscious awareness to examine that imagery, that brings with it some choice, and that allows you to change the imagery of your emotions. When you change that imagery the emotions change. It's really as simple as that.
