You might find this video informative:

My name is Peter Strong, and I am a professional mindfulness therapist specializing in Buddhist psychotherapy, which, of course, focuses very much on changing the process that creates your anxiety, depression, addiction, OCD or PTSD.

The focus in this approach is helping you really change the way you relate to emotional habits like anxiety or depression. The problematic relationship is where that relationship is built on habitual reactive patterns of AVOIDANCE and AVERSION, patterns of turning away from our emotional suffering, turning away from our painful emotions, turning away from our anxiety, turning away from our negative thoughts and beliefs.

Wherever there is aversion and avoidance, then the problem begins. The real problem is that these reactive patterns, these habits of avoidance and aversion, prevent the anxiety or depression or underlying emotional habits from changing and from healing. They cannot change if we continue to be reactive towards them, if we continue to avoid our emotions, if we continue to react with resistance, struggle and hatred towards our mind. That will simply make those emotional habits stronger.

So, if you would like to talk to a therapist online who specializes in mindfulness psychology and you would like to talk to a psychologist online, then please go to my website and learn more about the mindfulness approach and how it can help you, and then email me to schedule a Skype therapy session.

The mindfulness approach is very focused and practical. It s quite different than conventional talk therapy. Talk therapy in general, talking about our emotions, may bring about a temporary relief from the symptoms. You may feel better, but that feeling doesn't last because we are not changing the underlying emotional habit and the patterns of avoidance and aversion that are feeding that emotional habit.

The same goes for medications as well. Medications have their place, but only as a short-term way of reducing the intensity of the emotional pain. Medications are not designed to change that underlying psychological process that causes your anxiety, depression or addiction.

From my experience, this approach of mindfulness is the most effective way of producing fast changes in emotional habits and many of my clients see substantial improvements after the first 3-4 sessions. It is quite a different way of working with your mind.

Speak with an Online Therapist via Skype for Anxiety and Depression

Contact me if you would like to talk to a therapist online for help with anxiety or depression or if you would like to speak with a therapist for online help for recovery from an addiction.

Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I provides online psychotherapy for the treatment of anxiety and depression. If you'd like to talk to a therapist online for anxiety or if you'd like to speak to a therapist online for help with depression or if you'd like to talk with a therapist online for help with recovery from an addiction, then I invite you to go to my website and read more about online therapy and how it can help you overcome your anxiety or depression or addiction or other emotional problems.

My clients really enjoy talking to a therapist online because it's more convenient. It's easier to fit into a busy work schedule, and it's also very much more comfortable for you because you can have your session from home. You don't have to travel to a clinic or a therapist's office. So it's also generally less intimidating talking via Skype than it is talking in person. And this is quite important especially if you're working with anxiety, depression or addiction. People are often very uncomfortable about their emotional states and they don't like talking to a person directly. It's therefore a lot easier to talk about your emotional well-being online.

Also the style of therapy that I provide is not readily available, is called mindfulness therapy, and many people specifically choose this approach for working with anxiety or depression or addiction.

So mindfulness therapy is really quite different than traditional talk therapy or counseling. It's very different than psychoanalysis. It's not a process of trying to explain why you feel anxiety or depression, it is not trying to uncover the past or analyze your upbringing. Instead mindfulness therapy focuses on what you can do right now to change the psychological habits that are creating your anxiety or depression or the psychological habits that are fueling your addiction.

So during mindfulness therapy sessions I will teach you very practical ways of working with your emotions using mindfulness. The results are quite spectacular. Most people see very fast progress and generally I expect you to see significant changes in the intensity of your anxiety or depression within three to four sessions. I think that's quite important. You should see results. Psychotherapy should not be a process that takes countless sessions over the years to achieve results.

To me that simply indicates an inefficient process. Learning how to work with your emotions and overcoming anxiety or depression or addiction is simply a function of learning practical and effective strategic methods. And that's what we teach during online therapy sessions.

If you'd like to learn more and you are interested in talking to a therapist online via Skype then simply go to my website and send me an email and we can schedule an online therapy session at a time that works for you. Thank you.

Welcome. If you would like to talk to a therapist online for psychological help do please go to my website and learn more about my Skype Therapy Service that I provide.

Skype therapy is a very effective way of working with anxiety and depression and also other emotional problems that you may be experiencing, and it is available, of course, wherever you live, whether that is in the US or abroad.

I see people all over the world, and particularly people who are interested in Mindfulness Therapy, which is the particular style of therapy that I offer online and that works extremely well for anxiety and depression.

Basically, during these online therapy sessions, what I will be teaching you is how to work with your emotions and how to develop more space in that relationship with your emotions and with your thoughts, so that you can break the habit of becoming overwhelmed or consumed by your thoughts or emotions.

The biggest problem that we face is this problem of reactive identification, where we literally become consumed by our thoughts or emotions; and when that happens, they simply grow stronger.

What mindfulness teaches us is how to essentially sit with your emotions or thoughts without becoming consumed by them. This allows you to develop what we call "emotional independence" from your thoughts or emotions. This is the first step to healing.

If you want to overcome anxiety you have to be able to sit with your anxiety consciously, without becoming reactive. When you can do that, then you can actually begin to change the anxiety itself, working with its internal image structure, which I will talk to you more about during our sessions.

But, when you change how you see the emotion in the mind, when you change its image structure, then you change the emotion itself, directly. So, that is one part of mindfulness therapy.

So, please go to my website, learn more about Skype therapy, and then call me via email and we can set up a Skype therapy session. Thank you!

Online Therapist via Skype for Help Recovering from Anxiety and Depression.

I specialize in Mindfulness Therapy. The focus of this service is to help you learn practical mindfulness-based methods for reducing anxiety, depression and stress by controlling the habitual reactive thinking that feeds anxiety and depression as well as healing the core emotions underneath that fuel that reactive thinking.

Welcome! My name is Peter Strong, and I am a professional online therapist. I provide online therapy via Skype to help you overcome anxiety, depression, and also to help you recover from addictions.

The service that I provide is available wherever you live, throughout North America, or abroad in Europe, and basically all you need is Skype and PayPal and a good internet connection and then you're good to go! If you would like to schedule an online therapy session with me, please visit my website and send me an email and then we can find a time that works for you.

So, this online service is very effective for working with anxiety, and many people choose the online route because it's more convenient and also easier to deal with, especially if you are suffering from anxiety.

The style of therapy that I offer is called Mindfulness Therapy, which is a very effective way of working with the underlying process that causes anxiety, depression or addictions. Medications only treat the symptoms. It's very import ant to treat the underlying cause.

And, for most people the underlying cause of anxiety, depression or addictions lies in two areas. The first is unresolved core emotions, core anxiety, depression or a sense of low self-esteem or other core emotion that, basically has not healed. This needs to heal in order to break free from the patterns of anxiety, depression or addiction.

The second part of working with emotional conditions using Mindfulness Therapy is to learn how to manage the reactive thinking that feeds those underlying core emotions.

Most people find themselves lost in habitual patterns of reactive thinking, racing mind, excessive worrying and anticipatory anxiety caused by over-thinking. Learning to manage reactive thinking is a very important part of Mindfulness Therapy.

So, during these sessions of online therapy, we will explore both the core emotions and those patterns of reactive thinking and I will teach you very practical mindfulness-based methods to work with these two areas.

And, because this approach is so focused on the underlying process, most people will sees significant changes in far fewer sessions than is typical for the more traditional style of talk therapy or counseling.

So, if you are interested in learning more about online therapy and the mindfulness therapy approach, please contact me through my website and we can schedule a Skype therapy session.
