The Kincardine lagoons weren't giving up it's birds easy this day.The weather was so cool and overcast the dandelions didn't open. Even though the list says we observed 40 species, many were by call only and the sightings were fleeting. Seemed most birds were keeping quiet and out of sight. Even chickadees were hard to find. Days like this make us appreciate the good birding days even more. But the group was happy to be out and enjoyed the forest walk.
