Trip Leaders: Stew, Doug, Nancy
Hospitality and Organization were the themes of the day.
Imagine all the work that goes into preparing your cottage to host 43 people. Imagine the organization, the planning, the purchasing of food and then greeting a crowd with smiles making them all feel welcome. Nancy and Stew, we are very grateful for the great and joyful way you made us feel at home and provided us with the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful meal. Thanks you for creating an atmosphere of happiness, fun and laughter.
Doug, thank you for the many kilometres you had to drive to put up signs, scout the peninsula, research birding facts, provide maps, organize our routes and with that, challenging our birding knowledge. We improved our avian skills as we made our way through your maze. Thank you for providing all of us with an enjoyable birding day . With your leadership, we had a total of 93 species of birds. Not bad, eh!
