The club saw 200 species in 2013. New birds added were Common Eider, Red Phalarope, Yellow-headed Blackbird and Lark Sparrow. Three of these new birds were found on the 3 day Niagara Trip. The Lark Sparrow eluded most of the group but was seen by at least 5 BBC. The Eider was originally called a King but on examination of the photos determined to be a Common. The Yellow-headed blackbird was a nice surprise found at Oliphant.
