Hi Everyone, 

There are a lot of people to thank for today’s outing. First on the list are Marshall and Wanda for their wonderful hospitality at noon today,  The main course of a warm and wonderful chilli were prepared by Marshall, Stewart and Nancy, and enjoyed by all. Thank you also to the people who provided the desserts and the garlic bread adding to the meal.  Also thank you to Marilyn and Susan Weaver for keeping the bird list up to date, and for Cathy and Lynn  for adding two more birds one the way home, a Merlin at the Boat House parking lot, and a Common Goldeneye in the Saugeen River, giving a total of 30 birds seen on the day

Excellent birds were seen today under Marshall’s leadership ….  Tufted Titmouse,  Common Redpoll, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Great Black-backed Gull , four woodpecker species including a Northern Flicker, and Snow Buntings.
