HI Everyone,

Thank you James for leading the Bruce Birding Club on a successful hike today. We all had a great time and enjoyed your expertise in guiding us in our quest for shorebirds. You not only found us the target bird which was the Red-necked Phalarope but you found three of them.

As some on said we didn't even see a chickadee today but we got some pretty darn good birds instead. We were not not into the forest or forest edge habitat today so while this reduced our bird count we did get to see 55 different birds including 12 species of shorebirds.

It was great to see Mike and Tanya out with us again. We are all looking forward to seeing more of them in the future. Thank you Vickie for making it happen.

The weather was sunny with a high of 29 C. Mild winds and because of that, not one of us lost our hats to the sewage lagoons although that Panama hat guy was having some trouble.
