Thank you, James for a great day.  As always you turn a cool windy day into an exposition of knowledge, pointers of where to look, and a leadership style that is friendly, and leads to a lot of fun for the rest of us.  From all of us, a sincere thank you, James.

Hi Fred; Here is a summary from today.

HI BBC; Birds were hard to find today so every sighting was special. Luckily most people were prepared for the cooler weather and had gloves on. The bird of note at the lagoons was the Green Heron who waited patiently as we all got a look. Green herons have nested here the past couple of years and some old stick nests could be seen. Because of the cool wind we ate lunch in our cars. At Chalmers Pond we saw four swallow species picking insects from the water surface. At the Greenock Swamp the Cerulean Warbler was a no show but we did see some thrushes and orioles. All in all a tough birding day, but everyone was grateful for the time together. Thanks to Marilyn for doing the ebird lists.Cheers James
