Leader: Norah Toth - with regrets from Judy Duncan

Attendees: Barbara Palmer, Susan Weaver, Cathy Bailey, Norma Nanni, Carole Lupton, Margaret Anderton, Bruce Edmunds, Bill Hatten, James Turland, Marshall Byle, Fred Jazvac and Marilyn Ohler.

Wanda Byle joined us for lunch.

It started out as a dark, rather dreary, day. The temperature hovered around 1 or 2 degrees C and Lake Huron was rolling. There was little ice along the shore. The rain held off, which was a bonus! The day started off with a flyover, at the boathouse, of a Rough-legged Hawk.I am copying below the ebird summary created by Marilyn Ohler. Thank you Marilyn for doing this for us. A special thank you goes out to Norah Toth for leading us today to some spectacular birds for this time of year, Little Gull, Glaucous Gull, Bohemian waxwings, Eastern Bluebird and drum roll ….. *** Golden Eagle***. Thank you, Norah !!!
