Hi Everyone,
Thank you Bonnie and Wayne for once again inviting us over and providing this wonderful day for us. The work you had to do before and after this occasion is beyond the call of duty. We all had a good time, ate too much and enjoyed your leadership and birds that you found for us. We had an all day banquet mixed with an excellent collection of avian visitors.
Thank you also to Liz who looked after the list for us and prepared the results below and made this email much easier to send out.
And finally the last, thank you to all of you for the total surprise you gave me today. The incredible card prepared in a way that only Bonnie can do and the wonderful gift you gave me. That Canvasback will always bring a smile to my face every time I see it. To say I was surprised would be an understatement and in the process I got a little choked up with the presentation. Thank you, all of you.
The weather was blue skies with a little wind and temperatures varying between 2 to 8 Centigrade.
We saw 71 species. The food was great. the birds cooperated and the company was priceless.
Take care,
Fred
