Little Gulls AT Baie du Dore
Trip Leader: Bruce and Liz
Participants: Fred , Bonnie, Judy, Margaret, Doug, Dorothy, James, Carole L, Norma, Liz and Bruce, Lionel, Norah, Jim , Mary, Simon
We had 15 people attend today's outing led by the Rookies of the Year - Bruce and Liz . Most of the hike was in the Kincardine area. At the end of the day, they were declared rookies of the year in a brief ceremony held at Baie D' Dor because of great job by the first time hike leaders. What a great day it was seeing 48 species including birds like the Red-throated Loon, a Red-headed Woodpecker, 69 Tundra Swans. and finishing with a flock of 6 Little Gulls. Wow! The excellent birds were seen because of the scouting of many good people including Liz and Simon Turland.
Thank you to Margaret for keeping the bird list.
