HI Everyone,
Thank you to Judy and Norah for planning an enjoyable hike for us today. With the handicap of having at least two hours of fog, poor visibility in general, they still found us thirty-seven species of birds, a good number for any winter day. With excellent leadership and in the company of BBC people, we all had an enjoyable time today.
Also, thanks go out to the BBC members who allowed us on their properties today, Bonnie, John and Kay and Werner. We enjoyed your birds and the way you make them, and BBC birders welcome on your property.
The weather was warm for this time of year, getting up to 8 C. and then dropping to 5 C. as the day progressed. Skies were overcast, rainfall was light in the morning, and at times, visibility was poor in general, and detrimental to birding.
Thank you, Margaret for keeping our bird list today.
Take care,
Fred
