A very big thank you goes to Ralph Knowles for leading this successful hike at the last minute, then looking after rest stops, lunch and getting us some sunshine, finally. A special thanks to Bonnie too, since she led us to see the elusive Red-headed Woodpecker and our only Brown Thrasher of the day. Mary-Ann, thank you for once again looking after the list. 70 species of birds were seen.

Temperatures varied from 4 to 8 C. Cloudy in the beginning and sunny most of the day. The winds were moderate.
