HI Everyone,

"It was a dark and stormy night.” Well, not really night, but the rest would apply to the BBC Hike today when 10 brave souls challenged this rainy day led by brave Margaret Anderton. A few winter species showed up including Dark-eyed Juncos, Rough-legged Hawk, and American Tree Sparrow indicating that there were more winter birds yet to visit our area. 32 species on the day were seen which even without the rain would have been called a good day. The rain continued and the day ended at 1:00 p.m. Thank you Margaret for taking this challenge on.
