First of all, a great big thank you, to our hike leaders, Kiah Jasper and Alessandra Wilcox for taking us on this wonderful adventure.  Considering the time of year in beautiful Algonquin Park, we saw species numbers that were beyond what I expected.  We did get to see some wonderful birds, Northern Saw-whet Owl, Barred Owl, Boreal Chickadee, Canada Jay, etc. With a disastrous start weather wise, Kiah offered to take us on out to use our travel home day to look for birds.  We took up his offer!  The adventure continued!

Hey Fred,

Thanks a lot, we appreciate that. It was really fun to spend a few days in the north, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was nice to catch up with some folks who I haven’t seen in a long time. I’m glad the weather cooperated today!
