Welcome back to a brand-new term. We are delighted to see Year 7 return refreshed and ready to continue their learning journey in Secondary. This week, our focus has been on re-establishing positive routines, organisation, and confidence in the classroom. We look forward to seeing our youngest learners continue the excellent progress and relationships built last term.

We are thrilled to share that Nadeen School has been invited to an exclusive viewing of WICKED – The Musical at the Bahrain National Theatre on Friday, 16th January at 3:00 PM.

This is a wonderful opportunity for families to experience an internationally acclaimed theatrical performance together in a world-class venue.

The invitation is open to all families with learners from Year 5 to Year 11, and parents are warmly welcome to attend alongside their child.

Please note: if you choose for your child to attend without parental accompaniment, families will be responsible for drop-off and pick-up at the theatre. School staff will be present on the day to supervise and support attending learners.

We are aware that some parents have been having challenges in buying a new Nadeen polo shirt. Unfortunately the school's uniform suppliers are currently out of stock of the Nadeen Polo shirts. We are looking at ways to resolve this issue. In the meantime, white Nadeen shirts are available to purchase as an approved alternative item of the Nadeen school uniform. This week, our learners explored different parts of the school and got to know new vocabulary related to the classroom, library, playground, and canteen. They practiced forming short and simple sentences using these words.

Next week, the learners will move on to learning about school tools and practicing how to use them in simple sentences, with a focus on developing reading and writing skills. Additionally, there will be some reading comprehension training to further strengthen these skills.
