For Year 11, the focus on Empathy aligned closely with their involvement in the ‘Future Me’ Careers event, helping them reflect on their aspirations as they prepare for life beyond IGCSEs. Discussions emphasised how empathy contributes to strong professional relationships, teamwork, and emotional intelligence—skills that will be essential as they move toward further education and future careers. Year 11 showed real maturity in how they approached this valuable opportunity.

Meeting with the VP/SLT/MLT
This week, we were proud to host our ‘Future Me’ Careers Event, where learners from Year 9, 10 and 11 had the opportunity to engage with over 20 representatives from a wide range of companies and sectors across Bahrain.
The event was highly interactive and offered our learners a valuable chance to explore potential future pathways, ask insightful questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the many opportunities available to them beyond school.
A huge thank you to all the organisations and professionals who attended and supported the event, and well done to our learners for their enthusiasm and engagement throughout the morning.
Please note that the whole Secondary School will finish at 2:00pm on Monday 24th November. This is to allow time for the Year 10 Learner Conferences, which will be taking place throughout the afternoon. Please ensure arrangements have been made for your child to leave campus at 2pm.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
We are excited to share that our Secondary Sports Day will take place next Thursday, 27th November. All learners should arrive at school in their PE kit and/or House t-shirt, ready for a full day of activities and team spirit.
We will travel together by bus to the Bahrain Rugby Club in Saar, where learners will take part in a range of fun, competitive and inclusive events. We are very much looking forward to an enjoyable day of sport, teamwork and House pride. Once the event has concluded, learners will return to Nadeen School by bus.
Parents and guardians are welcome to collect their child directly from the Rugby Club at the end of Sports Day. If you wish to do this, please ensure you inform your child's form tutor by Wednesday at the latest, so that we can maintain accurate registers and ensure the safety of all learners throughout the event.
We look forward to a fantastic day together!
Exam entries for our Year 11 learners are now being finalised. Next week, each learner will receive their individualised exam timetable, outlining all IGCSE dates for the upcoming examination period.
Please take the time to review this carefully at home and begin planning revision schedules accordingly. If you have any questions, our team is here to support.
Please can all learners return their signed forms back to school as soon as possible.
Nadeen School Annual Festive Fair
We are delighted to let you know that we are hosting this event again on Friday November 28th from 11am-4pm at Dilmunia, the home of our brand new, state-of-the-art campus.
On this day children, parents, staff and friends will come to our fair for a fun family day. We have games and prizes for the children, independent vendors offering various products for sale, food stalls, and a raffle. Last year we had over 2000 visitors to our Fair and it was an incredibly well-attended, well-enjoyed event; we are expecting even more visitors this year!
One of our largest fundraisers during the year is our Festive Fair Raffle. If you or your company could donate a raffle prize, such as a voucher, gift, gift certificate or hamper, it would be greatly appreciated by Nadeen School children, parents and staff. Should you be interested in sponsoring our event, please let us know by emailing v.trindade@nadeenschool.com and ks1-parentboard@nadeenschool.com

Dear Parents,
The Ministry of Health and Education of Bahrain, requires that all learners joining Grade 10 which is Year 11 must have a compulsory medical health check examination completed and signed by a doctor in Bahrain in order for an early detection for any chronic disease.
Please attach a letter sent by the Health Care Centers.
