English

This week, learners have been exploring vocabulary related to the weather through our featured text, "Storm Spotting."

Additionally, we have concentrated on grammar, specifically fronted adverbials, discussing various types and writing examples.

Maths

This week in Maths, our learners have continued with Place Value. They practised partitioning numbers to 10,000, using a variety of resources. They then found 1, 10 and 100 less and more than, playing games and completing maze activities. They finished the week by placing numbers on a number line and comparing numbers to 10,000.

Science

This week, learners explored the fascinating world of plants and animals through both discussion and a hands-on activity. They learned how to recognise and represent different groups of plants, built on their knowledge of animal classifications, and were introduced to classification keys to help identify different species. Using real-life examples and sorting tasks, learners worked together to classify and organise living things just like real scientists, encouraging observation, teamwork, and critical thinking

سيقرأ الطالب النص قراءة سليمة ومعبرة. يتعرّف الطالب على خريطة القصة وعناصرها (الشخصيات – المكان – الزمان – الأحداث – المشكلة – الحل). يستخلص الطالب القيم والدروس المستفادة من القصة (التعاون، الصداقة، مساعدة الآخرين). يطورالطالب مهارات التحدث والكتابة من خلال أنشطة مشوقة مرتبطة بالقصة ( أوراق عمل - كتاب التدريبات ) .

This week, our learners learnt to introduce themself in Arabic and practise their Arabic speaking skills through simple dialogues with their classmates.

Next week, learners will be learning about demonstrative words in Arabic:

Please note that our canteen is available only from Year 4 onwards.

Primary learners in Year 4 and Year 6 will be able to start using the canteen after the half term.

All canteen cards that have been ordered for Primary learners will be held securely by the school all the time.

For parents who ordered the cards for Early Years up to Year 3, refunds will be processed though the app, and a notification will be sent to you account in the app.

Let Us Know If Your Child Is Absent – New Email!

We are pleased to inform you that a dedicated email address has now been created for reporting learner absences. Please use attendance@nadeenschool.com to notify the school if your child will be absent on the day. All of the absence correspondence should as always go through the form tutor. This will help us ensure accurate attendance records and streamline communication. Thank you for your cooperation.

SMS TEST

Dear Parents,

As part of our regular health and safety procedures and our ongoing commitment to maintaining accurate records, we will be sending a test SMS to all parents this Sunday at 10:00 AM.

This is a routine check to ensure our contact information is up to date and that we can reach all families promptly in the event of an emergency or important communication.

No action is required unless you do not receive the SMS. If that is the case, please contact us at Admissions@nadeenschool.com to update your details.

NOTE: SMSs will be sent to local numbers only; if you do not have one, please arrange to obtain a local number as we require 2 local contact numbers for each learner and a local emergency number different from the parents' numbers (This will be used in case of emergency only -not included in SMSs)
