Arabic at EYFS

At Early Years Foundation Stage, we introduce our young learners to the Arabic language through play-based and exploratory activities. The curriculum emphasises communication, language, and literacy as one of its core learning areas, fostering skills like listening, speaking, and early phonics. Learners engage in bilingual experiences, often including Arabic language exposure aligned with Bahrain’s Ministry of Education requirements, delivered in a context that respects local culture and heritage. Through stories, songs, and interactive play, learners develop foundational language skills in a nurturing environment that prioritises holistic growth.
