Box of Goodness Ramadan initiative
A gentle reminder we are collecting non-perishable food items throughout Ramadan to support families in need. Items can be dropped off at the Learner Entrance. Thank you for your generosity.
This week, the learners are now being challenged to write a daily sentence using their Phase 2 and Phase 3 knowledge to try to spell the words correctly before adult-led role modelling. This allows them the opportunity to make links to their previous learning and decode.
In class, we’ve been enjoying learning about Chinese New Year and using it as an opportunity to explore how numbers are represented in different ways and across different languages. The children have been discovering Chinese numerals, comparing them to the numbers we use every day.
This week, FS2 learners had a visit from Year 4!
They listened to two different versions of a story; one happy, and one sad or strange.
They then discussed how both endings made them feel, as part of Year 4's literacy lesson.
It is always great to see children and teachers from around the school, we hope they come back soon!
This week, the children explored Alice in Wonderland, discussing vocabulary such as magical, fantasy and wonder. We watched a short video clip to spark their imagination before creating our own “through the keyhole” artwork. The children carefully traced and cut out keyhole shapes, mounted them onto card, and drew what they imagined they might see on the other side. They then wrote words or short sentences to describe their ideas, combining creativity with early writing skills.
At Nadeen, we value strong partnerships with our families and your feedback plays an important role in our continuous improvement journey.
Our Parent Happiness & Feedback Survey has been designed to help us better understand your child’s experience across wellbeing, learning, communication and community.
Here is the survey link: Parent Happiness & Feedback Survey
Your honest reflections will support our leadership team and team in celebrating what we do well and identifying areas where we can continue to grow across all year groups.
Thank you for taking the time to share your voice, it truly matters.
Wolverton and the HPL wolf-pack have been beautifully upcycled from our previous Nadeen uniform, with additions from our current one, symbolising our journey from one campus to another, and reflecting transformation, unity and growth.
A special thank you to Friend of Nadeen, Kirstin, for this wonderful creation.
Tickets can be purchased for BD1 from the Main Reception or Learner Entrance.
All funds raised will support our Hydroponics Initiative, enriching Food Technology and Biology lessons and helping our learners explore sustainability, gardening and plant science in purposeful, hands-on ways.
Payment can be made by:

Thank you for supporting this wonderful initiative.
We are pleased to share the launch of The Arabic Stories Digital Library, an innovative initiative from our Arabic Department designed to strengthen our culture of reading and academic excellence.
The platform provides a carefully curated collection of Arabic stories tailored to learners’ varying interests and proficiency levels. Learners are encouraged to read at least one story per week and complete a structured reflection task to deepen comprehension, enhance written expression, and develop critical thinking skills.
The library will continue to expand through regular updates, ensuring fresh and engaging content. This initiative supports independent learning, advances language development, and reinforces cultural identity — all aligned with our strategic vision and High Performance Learning framework.
Further details will be shared by Ms. Zenab after the half-term break.

We are pleased to inform you that a dedicated email address has now been created for reporting learner absences. Please use attendance@nadeenschool.com to notify the school if your child will be absent on the day. All of the absence correspondence should as always go through the form tutor. This will help us ensure accurate attendance records and streamline communication. Thank you for your cooperation.
We will begin phasing the purchasing of food from the canteen into Primary from Wednesday, 14th October, starting with Year 6 learners. To support the smooth operation of this process, learner cards will be kept in school and given to students at lunchtime to make purchases.
Please note: learners can only purchase food if they have a card.
If you would like your child to buy lunch from the canteen, you will need to purchase a learner card. Instructions for how to purchase the card can be found spare APP.
Please ensure there is sufficient money loaded onto the card to allow your child to buy food. You can use the SPARE app to top up the card, view what your child has eaten, and purchase meals in advance.
We are aiming to introduce this system to Year 4 and Year 5 learners after the half-term break. We need this time to carefully organise the process so that we can maximise efficiency and ensure a smooth experience for all learners.
We thank you for your patience and understanding during this introductory phase.
