This week we had lots of colourful fun with colour sorting. We explored different objects and toys, carefully sorting them by colour and discussing what we found! We used games, trays and toys to match, compare and organise. We went on colour hiuntsaround the classroom to make big piles of coloured objects. We also learnt lots of new language as we named colours, made choices and proudly showed each other what we had achieved!
We took on a big team work challenge this week as we worked together to build a giant train track all around the classroom. The learners searched for the right pieces of track that would fit together, sharing ideas and heping one another when something didn't quite work the first time. There was lots of lovely communication as the learners discussed which way the track should go and solved problems together!
The learners worked together to create an impressive magnetile tower! They carefully passed tiles to one another to help make the tower taller and talked about how to build it so it wouldnt fall down. Everyone showed great team work by being gentle, taking turns and making sure no one accidentally knocked the tower over while it was being built. We had lots of discussions about which shapes to use and where to place them.
We focused on developing fine motor skills through fun tracing activities. We used pincers to follow lines and patterns, picking up and placing down different materials along the way. This strengthened our hand muscles and improved our hand eye coordination. The learners showed great concentration and perseverance skills as they worked along straight, curved and zig zag lines choosing colourful pompoms to make their patterns stand out.

We are pleased to inform you that a dedicated email address has now been created for reporting learner absences. Please use attendance@nadeenschool.com to notify the school if your child will be absent on the day. All of the absence correspondence should as always go through the form tutor. This will help us ensure accurate attendance records and streamline communication. Thank you for your cooperation.
