Communication and Language

The learners engaged in a loose parts activity as part of our "Unique Me Day" celebration. Children used a range of materials to represent their own faces, showcasing their individuality and imagination. Activities like this support the development of self-awareness while also encouraging early language development.

Expressive Arts and Design

We have been reading The Colour Monster and exploring the different emotions it teaches us. The children have been encouraged to recognise and express their feelings, and we have been incorporating this learning into our provision this week.

Fine Motor Skills

Our FS1 learners have been strengthening their fine motor skills and developing their sensory awareness through engaging ice play activities, exploring textures, temperatures, and using tools to chip away and manipulate the ice.

Personal, Social and Emotional Development

The learners have been following the routine of registering themselves into school by using their own pictures alongside their friends. This daily practice encourages communication, introduces meaningful vocabulary, and supports social development as they recognise themselves and others as part of the community. It also builds independence and a sense of belonging.

Let Us Know If Your Child Is Absent – New Email!

We are pleased to inform you that a dedicated email address has now been created for reporting learner absences. Please use attendance@nadeenschool.com to notify the school if your child will be absent on the day. All of the absence correspondence should as always go through the form tutor. This will help us ensure accurate attendance records and streamline communication. Thank you for your cooperation.

Canteen Acess for Primary Learners

Please note that our canteen is available only from Year 4 onwards.

Primary learners in Year 4 and Year 6 will be able to start using the canteen after the half term.

All canteen cards that have been ordered for Primary learners will be held securely by the school all the time.

For parents who ordered the cards for Early Years up to Year 3, refunds will be processed though the app, and a notification will be sent to you account in the app.

SMS TEST

Dear Parents,

As part of our regular health and safety procedures and our ongoing commitment to maintaining accurate records, we will be sending a test SMS to all parents this Sunday at 10:00 AM.

This is a routine check to ensure our contact information is up to date and that we can reach all families promptly in the event of an emergency or important communication.

No action is required unless you do not receive the SMS. If that is the case, please contact us at Admissions@nadeenschool.com to update your details.

NOTE: SMSs will be sent to local numbers only; if you do not have one, please arrange to obtain a local number as we require 2 local contact numbers for each learner and a local emergency number different from the parents' numbers (This will be used in case of emergency only -not included in SMSs)
