This week we are celebrating how well the children have adapted and are settling into routines and joining in with learning activities. We have also enjoyed exploring the story The Rainbow Fish together and sharing our ideas during our discussions.
It has been wonderful to see the children engaging so well during our online learning this week and enjoying time with their friends. We have also loved starting our sessions with our morning wiggle to get our bodies moving and ready for learning.
We have loved seeing the children joining in confidently during our online sessions and sharing their ideas with the class. This week we also introduced our new phoneme /r/ and had great fun going on a sound hunt around our homes to find objects that start with this sound.
We are grateful for the strong partnership we share with our parents. During periods of online learning, your support at home plays a role in helping your child continue to succeed.
Maintaining a simple daily routine and encouraging your child's efforts during lessons can make a big difference. Where possible, setting up a consistent learning space for your child to join each lesson can also help them stay engaged and ready to learn. Being prepared with essential resources; paper, pencil/pens and ensuring your child has a charged device sets them with readiness for every lesson. Scheduling the release of planning the night before which is a part of our flexible approach and gives you time to prepare any additional resources that might be needed the next day.
Brain breaks are equally important; a short physical activity between online lessons can help children refresh and refocus. Ensure that children get a chance to step away from screens and engage in some of our Planned Activities on Tapestry. These rehearse their skills and come back to an activity, as they would in a classroom.
Most importantly, celebrate your child’s effort and progress. Your encouragement helps build their confidence and motivation to learn. If you see a comment on your child's work, share this with them as a moment of celebration together. Together, we will continue to support your children and ensure they have the tools to succeed during this period of online learning.
At Nadeen, we value strong partnerships with our families and your feedback plays an important role in our continuous improvement journey.
Our Parent Happiness & Feedback Survey has been designed to help us better understand your child’s experience across wellbeing, learning, communication and community.

We are pleased to share the launch of The Arabic Stories Digital Library, an innovative initiative from our Arabic Department designed to strengthen our culture of reading and academic excellence.
The platform provides a carefully curated collection of Arabic stories tailored to learners’ varying interests and proficiency levels. Learners are encouraged to read at least one story per week and complete a structured reflection task to deepen comprehension, enhance written expression, and develop critical thinking skills.
The library will continue to expand through regular updates, ensuring fresh and engaging content. This initiative supports independent learning, advances language development, and reinforces cultural identity — all aligned with our strategic vision and High Performance Learning framework.
Further details will be shared by Ms. Zenab after the half-term break.
