Year 11 continue to set the tone across Secondary. With routines well established, you are showing the value of calm focus, consistency, and leadership. Thank you also for your enthusiasm in supporting whole-school events like World Language Day, which we celebrated together on Thursday.

Over the coming weeks, we will finalise our learners' Cambridge Exam entries. You and your son/daughter will receive a personalised list of the courses and exam codes for the May/June sitting. Once these are made, accounts will issue an individual invoice, which must be settled to secure the entries. More details on this will be provided. 

Nadeen School is an approved exam centre for Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel, which provides and accredits our exams. The IGCSE and GCSE are the same; they are not related to the exam board, only the (I) indicating the international version, where language, timings, and UK colloquial references differ. Cambridge, Edexcel, and Oxford AQA offer a mix of traditional and international GCSE qualifications and are all equivalent.

We are delighted to inform parents that the rescheduled commendation evening that was cancelled at the end of last academic year has been rescheduled for Wednesday 15th October. This event is a celebration of the academic achievements of our learners from the academic year 2024/25. (current Y8/9/10/11). More details will follow but please keep this date in your diaries for what will be a wonderful evening celebrating our learners successes.

We kindly remind all parents that learners must attend school each day in their formal Nadeen uniform. On PE days, learners should bring their full PE kit with them and change into it before their lesson, and then back into their school uniform afterwards.

This approach helps maintain high standards of presentation throughout the school day, ensures consistency across the Secondary phase, and reinforces the importance of learners taking responsibility for their appearance and belongings.

We aim to maintain a professional learning environment, so hair should be neat and appropriate for school. For health and safety, hair must be tied back for practical subjects-PE, Food & Nutrition, Art, Science experiments, and similar activities. Please ensure learners bring a hair tie each day. Thank you for your support.

All learners should exit via the staircase leading directly to the Learner Entrance for pick-up. Bus riders may walk down the Secondary corridor and use the stairs by the Main Office. To reduce congestion in Primary corridors, especially during after-school club pick-ups, please avoid using Primary routes. This routine has been clearly communicated to learners and will continue to be reinforced. Thank you for your patience and support.

We are pleased to inform you that a dedicated email address has now been created for reporting learner absences. Please use attendance@nadeenschool.com to notify the school if your child will be absent on the day. All of the absence correspondence should as always go through the form tutor. This will help us ensure accurate attendance records and streamline communication. Thank you for your cooperation.
