Year 8 has embraced our theme of collaboration by working together to respect and maintain our school environment. From taking responsibility for litter to ensuring communal spaces remain clean and organised, learners have demonstrated how collaboration is essential in forming positive habits. Their collective efforts make a noticeable difference and help strengthen the sense of community within Secondary.

Staff Sport
Congratulations to Mackenzie, Gregor, David & Jack P for their win with the BRC 1st XV, and to Shiraz for her performance with the Nadeen Netball Academy Omegas (with Year 10s Farida—Player of the Match!—and Lola). Best of luck to Josh competing in Doha with the Arabian Celts this weekend.
As part of our continued efforts to promote responsibility and reduce waste, all learners are expected to bring a reusable water bottle to school each day. Water bottles can be used throughout the day and within classrooms to help learners stay hydrated and focused.
Please note that learners will not be allowed to take paper cups from the canteen or the upstairs café to the Secondary floor. This helps us maintain a clean environment and reduces unnecessary waste around the school.
Your support in reminding your child to bring their water bottle each day is greatly appreciated.
A gentle reminder to all KS3 families that learners must bring their own reusable, clearly labelled container on the days they have Food & Nutrition. This ensures they can safely take home the dishes they prepare in class and continue developing confidence in practical cookery.
Your support in helping learners come prepared is greatly appreciated and allows our sessions to run smoothly.
We are delighted to officially launch this year's Ecoventure Trip to Sri Lanka. This trip is open to learners in Year 7-Year 9. The trip consists of exciting activities, including surfing, hiking, snorkelling, cooking & much more!

Dear Parents,
The Ministry of Health and Education of Bahrain, requires that all learners joining Grade 7 which is Year 8 must have a compulsory medical health check examination completed and signed by a doctor in Bahrain in order for an early detection for any chronic disease.
Please attach a letter sent by the Health Care Centers.
I would be grateful if the examination form could be sent to me no later than 15th of January 2026 to nurse@nadeenschool.com, including your child’s name and class with a copy of the latest updated vaccination record. Please see more information here.
I appreciate your cooperation with this mandatory health record.

Nadeen School Annual Festive Fair
We are delighted to let you know that we are hosting this event again on Friday November 28th from 11am-4pm at Dilmunia, the home of our brand new, state-of-the-art campus.
On this day children, parents, staff and friends will come to our fair for a fun family day. We have games and prizes for the children, independent vendors offering various products for sale, food stalls, and a raffle. Last year we had over 2000 visitors to our Fair and it was an incredibly well-attended, well-enjoyed event; we are expecting even more visitors this year!
One of our largest fundraisers during the year is our Festive Fair Raffle. If you or your company could donate a raffle prize, such as a voucher, gift, gift certificate or hamper, it would be greatly appreciated by Nadeen School children, parents and staff. Should you be interested in sponsoring our event, please let us know by emailing v.trindade@nadeenschool.com and ks1-parentboard@nadeenschool.com
The Head Boy and Girl will be representing Nadeen School at the British embassy on Sunday 9th November to commemorate Remembrance Day. Poppies will be on sale in the school reception from Sunday should parents wish to purchase.

This week, our learners explored the topic “My Body”, where they learned to recognise and name the main body parts such as the head, hand, foot, eye, and mouth through fun and interactive activities like songs, drawing and labelling, and the “Simon Says” game.
Next week, we will begin the topic “My Five Senses.” Learners will explore how we use our eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and hands to experience and understand the world around us through fun, interactive activities.
Project information: Learners are required to work on their project “My Journey to Discover the World Around Me”, an interactive project designed to enhance Arabic language skills in a fun and creative way. You can find all project details, assessment criteria, submission dates, and full instructions through this link.
