This project initially started when Custy started keeping a log of the server's activity on a Google doc. Several months later, Hiaen started to keep a detailed record of the #headcanons-and-aus channel. Shortly after that, Eels created a similar archive for the meta discussion happening in #game-chat.
However, in the span of a couple months, Hiaen's archives had reached 400 pages. At this point it was unnaccessible from mobile and hard to navigate even on desktop, which lead to the creation of this website. It was launched with only the HCs and AUs, and the Meta sections were added a week later.
A bit later, Blue joined the ranks of the archivists, helping out with Meta logging.
The website is updated regularly as new meta, headcanons and AUs are created. Occasionally, some entries will be added from DM discussions or from the archivists backreading earlier than the archives' creation.
If you wish to have an entry added, please add it to this drive. Additionally, if you did HC or AU-inspired art and want to see it featured here, please send it to Hiaen (or Custy if Hiaen is asleep). Please note that while pictures posted in #headcanons-and-aus are usually added to the corresponding entry, art posted in #the-sokolov-gallery isn't included unless the artist asks for it.
For any additional question not covered by this intro, contact the archivists on Discord (Custy, Hiaen, Eels or Blue ).
These guides were written by Hiaen with the HC&AU section in mind; however the Meta section's organization is very similar, and these guides still apply with minimal adaptation.
