When Corvs passed out from working too much or if the conversation gets too heavy Sam will be like "Hey kid i got something to show u cmere" bc there are some conversations that shouldn't involve children.

At first Em was like "Uncle Sam!" But that respectfully changed to Grandpa/Pops/etc after the just straight acted like a granddad

Emily probs knighted Sam during a game and he thought it was pretend but she called him to court one day and he realized "wait that was for real" and she just wanted to do it ceremoniously. He is now Sir Samuel but she still calls him gramps

wait but if sam is em's grandpa, does that mean he's now corvo's dad by default. local boatman adopts 39-year-old royal protector more at 7. ok but corvo's dad DID die when he was pretty young so like. the position has been open for a while

I know that there's the "lay you down in her mother's great tomb" but like I'm certain that there's a Kaldwin Family Cemetery. Em makes a special spot for Corv and Sam when the time comes. Corv is probably in the same mosalium as jess. Sam gets his own statue with a "Here lies the great Sir Samuel Beachworth, Empress Emily Kaldwin's appointed grandfather". I feel like Em would make Attano her middle name or hyphenated Spanish. Whether that's a middle name or two last names is up to yall
